Just call me Mr. Davis
My name is Dominic Davis, and I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia, USA, where a longing for adventure and diverse cultures was instilled in me by my mother. Although I did not have the opportunity to engage in international travel as a child, my love for music became a pathway to university, leading me to tour with a vocal group that performed in schools across the U.S., igniting my passion for working with students.
During my time at Liberty University, I engaged with the Center for Multicultural Enrichment, which further solidified my passion for diverse communities. I chose to study social science and education, and as graduation approached, I realized that international education was the ideal path to blend my love for travel and teaching.
After being recruited by a startup school in Seoul, South Korea, my journey as an international educator began, marking the start of a fulfilling career that has spanned over a decade. Reflecting on my experiences, I appreciate how they have shaped me, and I remain excited about the journey ahead in the field of education.
